Family Tree Packages
All the Family Tree Packages purchased from Lines of Descent will aim to discover as much as possible about how your ancestors lived their lives. All of the Family Tree Packages are presented in a gold embossed springback binder with all reports, trees, charts etc. printed on 90gsm archival paper. All the reports are written by me, with all sources noted and include suggestions for further research. The Family Tree Packages provide excellent value for money with no hidden surprises, as they are inclusive of reports, birth and/or marriage certificates (see individual packages for more details), census transcripts and postage and packing. All packages are posted using the Royal Mail 'Special Delivery Next Day' service. A deposit of 50% is required prior to commencement of research, the balance due on completion.
Birch: Standard - Single Line Package, £160
If you commission this package, I will endeavour to research your chosen line (male or female) back as far as reasonably possible; most usually to the early 19th Century, using both birth and marriages records, as well as the 1841-1911 censuses and the IGI. You will receive a short report and up to four birth and/or marriage certificates, plus transcripts of census and other relevant documents.
Alder: Intermediate - Two Line Package, £295
For this package I will research two lines of your tree (e.g that of your grandfather and grandmother) in the same way as for the single line package. You will receive a full report with up to eight birth and/or marriage certificates, plus transcripts of census and other relevant documents.
Willow: Premium - Multiple Line Package, £550
This package is suitable for four lines of your tree (e.g. both sets of grandparents) including as much detail as is possible on children and their marriages for each generation found, in order to provide a real insight into the diversity of your family over the last two centuries. This Family Tree Package also makes a wonderful wedding gift providing a combined family history for both the Bride and Groom.
All deposits/payments for the Family Tree Packages can be made by cheque or PayPal/email invoice.

Death Certificates
In general Death Certificates are not essential to family history research, as usually just knowing the date of death is sufficient. Nevertheless, there are times when a death certificate can yield very interesting information, such as in the death of a child or a relatively young adult. The person reporting the death was most often present at the time and I have known this to shed light by providing a married name for a previously untraceable female relative. If you feel you would like the death certificate of a particular person(s), for inclusion in any of the Family Tree Packages, these are available at the cost price of £9.25.
Maps
19th Century maps showing where your ancestors lived make a beautiful addition to your family history. Many places that we now think of as completely urban were once simply a rural hamlet. When a place of particular interest has been identified, I will advise you if a map of the period is available for inclusion in any of the Family Tree Packages. Price: £9
