All the services listed below are only available when one of the Family Tree Packages is purchased from Lines of Descent and are not available as stand alone products.
Family Photograph Restoration
Although not a professional photographer or restoration expert, I am able to digitally clean up your old and ailing family photographs. I do not overdo the touch up process as I prefer to maintain the integrity of the original. For this you just email me a scanned copy of the photo and I will do the rest.

Standard Service: Suitable for family photographs bearing a small amount of physical damage and/or problems of discolouration or blemishes. Cost: £15 including a print that will be added into your Family Tree Package.
Advanced service: Suitable for family photographs bearing some physical
damage, e.g. torn corners, creases, lines or marks and/or stains on the
background. From £20 (contact us to request free quote). Includes a print to be added
to your Family Tree Package.
Almost every family has anecdotes that have been passed down through the generations, stories that generally become distorted over time. To prevent that happening to future generations of your family it advisable to collect family memories from living relatives recalling past times (e.g. childhood, occupations, wartime experiences) either by making notes or audio recordings. From these I will be able to collate the memories and write them up for inclusion in your Family Tree Package. A short piece (up to one A4 sized sheet) compiled from your notes will be produced free of charge with any of the Family Tree Packages. Larger pieces will be charged at an hourly rate of £15.
